Use By Date

Best before...

We are often questioned on the fact that all our extra virgin olive oil is labelled with a best before date of two years from harvest date. While it is true that extra virgin olive oil is at its best soon after harvest, only inferior oils will deteriorate in such a short period of time.

It seems that there is a body of belief that olive oil should be used within 3 to 6 months of being opened. If stored properly, it can last well beyond this time.
